On a sunny Sunday afternoon I got streestyle photographed by the lovely Matjaz Tancic, who is an amazingly talanted photographer and blogger. See his words and photos here: Matjaz Tancic.

Went to Central Saint Martins today for an open day.....god bless, I fell in love! Nevermind that post about boys, all I need is this uni to keep me satisfied for ever and after. You can say yum twice!
Okay, I do not really know how to talk about this, or how my mother is going to react when seeing it (oh, she always says "whats have you been up to, I've seen the photos on your page"), but I seriously think something might be wrong with me.
No, it is not a fashion problem, although this is supposed to be a fashion blog, BUT a few words have been said to me in the last few weeks that I can not forget.
Alright, I'll put it this way - I am a really romantic kind of person, I may not come across like one, but I'm all about love letters and dinners kind of shit, and the way I hear it, no one is like that anymore. I actually turned down (and this is NOT bragging) 3 sex offers in the past week, please insert a male model (a reallllllllyyyyy gorgeous one) in this section (yes, everyone has been on my case "WHY DIDN'T YOU DO IT?! AND YOU WERE AT HIS PLACE?! AND YOU SLEPT OVER?!")- and no, not telling who it was - , and from peeling off all the papers on my beer bottles (quite a few went down my throat in the last couple of days) my friend Victoria had established that I am sexually frustrated. I mean, even my gay friends asked what is the matter with me.
Okay, I admit, it has been a while and hearing other people say a while means "two weeks tops" I don't think I will ever tell anyone how long it really has been. Haha. But this is where I need you to help me out. Is it true that girls are no longer sluts for having one night stands? (wow, did I really write this!). And how do you feel the morning after? I have a huge guilt even for kissing someone. It's always in my head "oh, what will he think of me?".
Well anyway, I've stumbeled across a blog called imboycrazy.com, and by seeing a few tips she gave me, I MIGHT as well go for it the next time. What do you think? Slut or wait ever-so-long for the "right one"?
I am currently obsessed with this band. Why? Every single one of the songs is amazing and suits every mood, and for a moody person like me=perfection!
But anyway, there has been so much going on at uni that when I come home (usually around 7) I am beyond tired but keep on working. I need a weekend off, but this is not happening for another month and 15 days. I realised how much I miss peace, London is crazy and I have been out every single night for about two weeks now, my eyeballs are not being supportive of my behaviour.
HALLOWEEN tomorrow though!!!! What's your costume??? I have figured mine out! Thank god I work in a vintage shop and find jewels like what I'll be having tomorrow ;))))
Vintage shoes, shirt and blazer, Joy Division bag, H&M skirt
I feel a strong need to let everyone who hasn't been to SHOWstudio at Somerset House yet know, that they are missing out on some pretty good shit! I went there a while ago, but haven't said anything about it on my blog yet, only in my Uni journal and research books, so I think it is about time I do!
Our styling tutor told us it is a must and everyone must go once, so I wasn't really expecting something THIS good, you know, just "uni things". I was so wrong! The first thing to really impress me was the mirrors room, and then three huge Naomi statues, and then a room with fuckloads of videos, tv's and photos etc. What I loved most though, was the fashion film. My favs were Rodarte, Gareth Pugh and Margiela. I recorded them, but nevermind my shitty videos, here's what youtube has to offer!
What I am trying to say is, if you are in London right now, or live here or whatever, this is bigger than Big Ben! - GO SEE THIS, IT IS ABSOLUTELY FUCKING BRILLIANT.
So, I have reached the number 200 today, not in lbs but in followers haha! I feel extremely proud of this. Thank you my dear readers!
By this week we had to decide what we want to do in the future. It is just the beginning of this course, and already I have to know what I want to become. SO confusing. How hard will it be to put together a decent portfolio though, I am extremely scared, as my first place on the application will be taken by Central Saint Martins..and they have no mercy. Gosh. My portfolio will be all about styling, photography and writing. Please be harsh on me and tell me your honest opinions on whatever I post up (not on my writing though, I love expressing my opinions here haha).
Last night me and a couple of uni mates went to an event called Ponystep. It's like the "ultimate" fashion party that (almost) anyone can attend (if you get THE emails, which tell the location) and get all dressed up without ANYONE looking down at you, and by dressed up, I mean DRESSED UP. The good thing about this event is, that every time you go, you can meet some pretty influentual people and get a bit further into the business, which is kind of what we as fashion students should be doing.
ANYWAY, it was almost over, when some of my schoolmates started hysterically talking about Alexander Wang and Christopher Kane being there as well. And I, help me God I do need to wear my glasses all the time, did not see them. BUT, all of the sudden, we were on our way to another party, and who were we going with? No other than mr. Wang himself. It made me think, do I look like a 14 year old girl following her fav pop star? Well, anyway, I soon got over that fact and just went with it. Joiners was amazing, despite the fact everyone in it was gay so from now on, when someone asks me there "So, are you with her?", I wont reply "Yes", because they obviously mean DATING HER, not just being there with a friend of mine. So, I was a lesbian as well for a while, extra points. haha.
I do need to say a HUUUUUGE thank you to Maja, for taking photos of this unforgettable night. Here are the photos of me being a goth and people around. See you next Sunday, Ponystep!
Uni is taking up most of my time, but at least I get a chance to properly update my blog in the 2.5 hour brakes between classes, so I guess everything is good for something!
So, my trend forecast would be: make round holes in sweaters, jeans, shirts (everything), tear up a long shirt into several fringes, tucking in your trousers into stockings, strange headwear, paint your skin (or get a tattoo you wont regret), buy metres and metres of fabric and experiment with draping, get wires and cage yourself (not litterally of course...or yes, up to you), wear lingerie as outerwear as seen at Dior (oh and btw see me sporting that trend a year ago HERE), don't forget about the BLACKS, WHITES and NUDES, those are seen at almost everz collection and dark lips.
I think that sums up what I'll be wearing most of time soon. (not that I already do, but I seriously need a shopping trip). Anyone wants to donate, my PayPal is just an email away.... ;))
Hope you like it, it took me 5 days to look at all the collections and do this, appreciate it ;D
As some of you know, I've started Uni recently and have been extremely busy going to galleries, drawing, photographing, RESEARCHING etc., so I haven't updated my blog too often, sorry about that, I think it's time for me to go back to self-trigger and take some style photos. BUT, I did an assignement for my photography class, which is right here, and all the styling is by me. The clothes are all mine, accept for tights in the last photo and roller skates. This is Elle, she's my housemate and a model/intern at Wallpaper magazine. Thank you Elle for not charging me! ;D
Anyway, you're pretty much able to see the not-so-good photography skills, but I wanted my idea to come alive in photos. The idea was to represent the forbidden things: smoking in a pub, roller skating in a shop and drinking alcohol on a bus. Hope you like it just a little bit heh.
