CHRISTMAS

Yep, for us here in London everything and everyone is already in the Christmas spirit, so what better way to celebrate the end of the term than shopping (and drinking)? Went to Marc Jacobs today with Kaoru and got a nice gift for my sister (if you're reading this, no, I'm not telling what it is haha) and myself, bought half of a present for my mom yesterday, and am left thinking what to get my dad... any ideas? I feel like I am 13 again, I miss my family and can't wait to see them for holidays hah :) Went to Vintage Heven afterwards (where, by the way, all dresses, bags and blouses are 5 pounds!!!, long coats 15 and short ones 10- MASSIVE SALE!) and got 2 coats and a skirt. I liked today. Now starting to get ready to celebrate with my Japanese bitch and friends hahahaha :D

THE ETERNAL CHILDREN

Music has always been a great part of my life, but I have only discovered amazing music in the past year or two.. amazing for me, at least. By amazing I mean, music that makes you think, close your eyes and go into another galaxy, makes you want to be someone else, makes you want to think you can survive by doing nothing, and makes you day dream. A lot. So, when I saw this documentary about people that I listen to most of the time (my LAST FM account) I wanted to share what I like. What I love. And what I would like others to see and make a space in their hearts for. Cheesy, I know. But I remember when I saw CocoRosie live months ago, my eyes were closed for about 70% of the show and everyone was quiet. It was pure magic.

The photos of me are from last night when we went to see the lights in central London.. must say it was way batter last year and the year before, but Bond Street shop windows made up for it I guess.... Whatever. Today Kaoru and I saw the strangest thing ever- a Christmas fair with little cottages in the middle of Oxford Street?! Wtf?! haha, was well nice though, felt like lovenia for a bit haha.

OUTT

These last few days were all about partying....still going on, two more nights to go. My cousins Kristina and Jasmina came to visit me and are here until Thursday, and as us Slovenian girls love to drink and have fun, we did some partyyying. Hooray. Well, if I count out the very important day, that was yesterday, for handing in our work at uni (the stress!). But yeh, some serious drinking occoured last night hahaah. Basicly, I can not remember ANYTHING from the moment the club owner gave us tokens to get free drinks (as we spent quite a lot of time at the bar) haha...ending up dancing wildly with a few fall downs. Mission accomplished, hangover present. Yum.

DAY OF THE DEAD

In Slovenia, the 1st of November represents the day of the dead. So what better reason to go to the cemetery and take photos. This is Katrina, and I am the person behind the camera. The quality could be much better, I know... Well anyway, I also did a couple of shots with a film camera, Pentax k100 (love it), you can check the photos and comment them on MY FLICKR. (keep in mind, I am still in the process of learning, but film is probably what I will be sticking with).

I love this class, never knew drawing and painting stuff is what I like doing. Yum. Anyway, this ring and blazer are my latest purchases. I bought this ring at Portobello market on Saturday and it's gold, from the 30' (supposedly) and amazing! Next time I go, I will buy another gold ring, I haven't taken this one off my hand, it's to die for ;) And doesn't it remind you just a tiiiiiny bit on that YSL ring? I love it :)

Was great fun and we'll be doing it again ;) ps: keep in mind none of the photos are edited, her camera was great!!

UGG's

Love em or hate them, they're everywhere. I have, however heard of something that may be a bit better if you are considering to buy them.

It's a company that manufactures merino sheepskin ugg boots which is crafted from a higher grading of sheepskin which is thicker than traditional ugg boots. The upshot of this is the boots are springier, softer to wear, distribute pressure more effectively and circulate more air. The greater circulation of air results in better thermostatic ability (warmer in winter and cooler in summer) Aside from technical spec's they're growing as a brand very quickly, just this month the Fergie from the Black Eyed Peas and the girls from Girls Aloud are among celebrities sporting ugg boots...

AUTUMN

I've been having lots of ups and downs lately, but if I put them both together I'm having quite a nice time. Well, it would be even nicer if someone wrote essays for me? Yes? Oh, I wish! Well, this weekend I did not go out to party at all, was working, doing uni work and spending time with someone... Overall, quite nice (except for the day of the previous post). I can not wait to see Slovenia again, my uni mate Kaoru is coming with me to my hometown, how fun will that be!!! Can't wait. Well, first I need to finish all my styling, photography, fashion hitory, cultural studies, visual studies etc. projects. Yep, LOADS of work. But now that I have someone to take photos of me (our new housemate Heidi from Finland) when it's daylight (we all get home really late), you can expect more posts. Yes, I know, was about time ;)) Thank you all for being so patient!
